While they may look similar on the surface, the two templates differ in some key areas:

  • Available Blocks: Spectra Free offers 8 blocks you can mix and match to create pages while Spectra Paid has over 20 different blocks so you have more flexibility with how content is displayed.
  • Extra Features: Spectra Paid offers extra features not available on the free version including a promotional banner, different header and footer layouts, an optional Trade module, a font library to choose from and more.
  • Ecommerce Flexibility: On Spectra Paid, Commerce7 can easily be turned off so you can use the template even if you aren’t selling online or if you’re using a platform other than Commerce7 such as VinoShipper.

Both the Free and Paid templates offer the following benefits:

Is the template really free?

Yes, the template is free for you to use as long as you are a Commerce7 client.

Is Spectra Free compatible with a builder like Elementor or Divi?

No. Spectra Free is built with ACF (advanced custom fields) which isn’t compatible with WordPress builders like Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, and similar.
